Numark Digital is an exciting new digital venture within Phoenix, with a mission to become the most visible pharmacy service in the UK. Being less than 10 months old and with an ambitious future ahead, we are forming a team of technology and product specialists to help drive the digital transformation of pharmacy in the UK.

We have already launched our digital prescription product ‘Hey Pharmacist’ and have plans to significantly expand our offering.

About The Opportunity:

We are now looking to recruit a Digital Product Owner, reporting to the Digital Project Manager. You will be responsible for taking the lead in many areas of the product development lifecycle and how that links to our digital strategy for the future.

As part of this role you will act as the lead on defining the vision, managing the product backlog, prioritising the stories, overseeing the development stages, be the key liaison with stakeholders understanding their needs and evaluating product progress at each iteration.

This will provide you with the opportunity to make a real difference – you’ve got the chance to really see your vision and creativity make a real difference to patients’s lives.

Who We Want: We are looking for someone who has the following skills & experience:

  • Experience as a product owner with a track record of build successful products
  • Clear understanding and experience of agile and Lean methodologies
  • Proven ability to influence cross functional teams without formal authority
  • Technical product knowledge or domain expertise with the ability to translate customer language into technical requirements for development
  • An expert at writing user stories and user acceptance criteria
  • Experience of working with agile software development techniques and teams.
  • Good commercial awareness and business understanding
  • Understanding of agile product development and the product development cycle

Qualifications

  • Degree qualified. Preferably within IT, Technology or Digital subjects or significant practical experience of the key responsibilities of the role

This is a permanent contract, 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday
