Phoenix Medical Systems are seeking a Regional ER Generalist/Advisor on a permanent basis.

About the Role:

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an ER Advisor. Reporting into the Transactional HR Manager, this role will play a crucial part in supporting managers with ER matters across the business.  As an experienced ER Advisor, you will also bring a wealth of employee relations and employment law knowledge enabling you to partner with managers to provide first class ER Advice and guidance and case work support.

What we need you to help us with:

  • Partner with managers to provide employee relations advice and guidance.
  • Operate a triage process for the effective and timely handling and escalation of employment matters
  • Case management of short and long term absence, advising managers on appropriate actions
  • Assist the Transactional HR team providing a triage approach and appropriate support
  • Coach managers and drive a culture of empowerment and accountability
  • Work collaboratively with our HR BP team ensuring a fluid and consistent service and comprehensive and enabling support to the business
  • Support and coordinate on HR projects where required working closely with the Transactional HR team

We are looking for someone who has a passion for people and wants to make a difference.  You must be able to work independently, take a hands on approach and build effective relationships with professionals at all levels.  You’ll need excellent communication and coaching skills, and an ability to positively challenge and influence.

You must be CIPD qualified or equivalent, with previous experience of dealing with complex ER cases and excellent employment law knowledge.

Working hours/pattern: 37.5hrs per week, Monday to Friday 9am till 5.15pm. 

2 days out of 5 can be worked from home and days worked from home are flexible.
