Consultancy Implementer

Dispensing Qualification required

The role holder will be responsible for delivering consultancy initiatives across the Numark Independent sector.  They will support and facilitate the launch of new service propositions across Numark and ensure the realisation of benefits.

Working in conjunction with the pharmacy owner or designated representative to maximise the offering and troubleshoot any challenges whilst providing guidance and training to the wider pharmacy team.

·       As a subject matter expert you will lead and engage on implementation of any consultancy initiatives

·       Facilitate the implementation of the consultancy initiatives ensuring that timelines and key objectives are met.

·       Support the pharmacy teams through the change process to ensure all new initiatives are embedded.

·       Deliver relevant training and coaching as required.

·       Effective communication throughout all levels of the independent pharmacy business up to and including pharmacy owners whilst being self reliant and confident.

·       Attend any relevant departmental or stakeholder meetings and training meetings as required.

·       Act as a visible role model for the Company’s values and behaviours that drive business performance, customer and quality excellence and engagement of our people.

·       To be able to adapt to the needs of Pharmacy business and to be able to provide a hands on approach.

·       To effectively manage your own time across a wide geographical area including travel overnight stays.

Experience

·       Extensive experience of working within a community pharmacy.

·       Substantial operational experience of multi site pharmacy support.

·       Experience of leading a team on delivering a new customer proposition through effective communication and training.

·       Demonstrative experience of implementing and facilitating new customer initiatives.

 

Knowledge and skills

·       Understanding of the GPhC standards

·       Competent in the use of Microsoft packages (i.e. Outlook, SKYPE)

·       Confident in the use of new technology.

·       Knowledge of pharmacy funding, regulations  across all UK registered pharmacies.

·       Comprehensive in depth knowledge of all pharmacy processes.

·       Ability to be able to adapt to variations in customer profiles, operating models and platforms.

·       Ability to be a fast learner.

·       Highly developed communication, influencing and negotiation skills.

·       Motivated to continuously improve and achieve excellence.

·       Ability to influence and collaborate across functions and levels.

·       Be able to work collaboratively as part of a high performing team

·       Realises goals through effective use of efficient time management.

 

Qualifications

·       Minimum of NVQ Level 2 Dispensing Assistant

·       Full UK driving licence
