PHOENIX Healthcare Distribution is a national full-line pharmaceutical wholesaler with a network of distribution centres nationwide. We pride ourselves on delivering a high quality supply chain service to our customers, who include pharmacy, GPs, and hospitals. All of our depots are licensed by the MHRA, and comply with BSI ISO Quality and Environmental standards. We operate twice daily deliveries from our distribution centres across Monday to Friday and on a Saturday morning, and our local teams are supported by a centralised function team, primarily from our Head Office in Runcorn.

About the opportunity:
We’re looking for a Transport Supervisor to join our existing team in our Wakefield Distribution Centre.
You will control and direct an efficient distribution operation which meets the needs of our customers by providing a reliable service, using all available resources to minimize cost and maximize profit within legal and regulatory guidelines. As well as deputising in the absence of the Depot Manager if and when required within the transport and distribution related duties.
To succeed in this role Delivery Driver supervisory experience is essential.
Salary
£32,218.94 per annum
Working Pattern
41.5 hours per week, working Tuesday to Friday from 11am till 7:15pm, and Saturdays from 5:30am till 2pm
Training and Support
You will receive a comprehensive induction from the Learning and Development Facilitators.

Essential Skills/Experience
- Minimum 5 GCSE’s or equivalent including Maths and English
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Proven driving experience
- An understanding of laws and regulations relating to Health & Safety
- Leadership qualities
- Excellent communication skills
- Well organised
Desirable:
- IOSH Qualification
- First Aid Qualification
- Fire Marshall
- Knowledge of working with targets/KPIs
- An understanding of GDP regulation
