Job Title: Business and Compliance Administrator (Apprenticeship)

Location: Runcorn Head Office, with potential travel to various PHOENIX UK sites as required

Salary: £22,698.00 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday 09.00 – 17.15

Do you have a spark, a can-do attitude, and a bit of get-up-and-go? If so, we want you to join our dynamic team as Business & Compliance Administrator. This is a fully funded apprenticeship that will allow you to earn as you gain valuable skills and experience in the pharmaceutical sector.

About the Role:

As a Business and Compliance Administrator, you will assist our Governance, Risk & Compliance Manager in their day-to-day tasks, covering a wide range of responsibilities including governance, insurance, risk, and compliance. This role is designed to provide you with hands-on experience and pave the way for your future career growth within our company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and update the monthly declaration register.
  • Handle queries from the Business Partner Due Diligence Portal.
  • Monitor e-learning compliance results and prepare data tables.
  • Take and draft minutes for review by the GRC Manager.
  • Monitor sanctions compliance and respond appropriately.
  • Ensure compliance policies and statutory documents are accessible.
  • Respond to ad hoc compliance queries.
  • Arrange and attend onsite and virtual meetings.
  • Prepare and draft presentations and MI reports using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Report potential/actual insurance claims to insurers.
  • Assist with updating and monitoring the company risk register.
  • Undertake ad hoc research and other departmental requests.
  • Perform general administrative duties.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum A-level education (including Maths & English).
  • Good IT skills, especially in Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills – Written and spoken
  • Highly organized and proactive.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good telephone manner.
