Rowlands Pharmacy have a rare vacancy for a Pharmacy Technician, within the Superintendent’s Office alongside the Superintendent’s Team.
This unique role will involve providing first line support to our Pharmacies and the Superintendent’s Team, providing clinical support to our Purchasing Team and supporting ongoing business development. You will be supported by an experienced and friendly team and full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for supporting our Purchasing Team to ensure products that are chosen for supply are safe and reliably sourced.
- Providing guidance to Pharmacy Teams as needed.
- Supporting the Superintendent’s Team, working closely with the Professional Support Manager and Deputy Superintendent Pharmacist.
- Be the Superintendent's Team point of contact with regards to Pharmacy Technician developments, governance, and support.
- Attend internal and external meetings where professional standards and regulatory decisions are required that may have a business impact, as appropriate.
- Assist with internal sign-off process for Superintendent Office documentation.
What We Require
- Registered Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
- Detailed understanding of operational process in a community pharmacy
- Good understanding of the GPhC standards and guidance and the law relating to pharmacy practice
- Good understanding of NHS contractual requirements and accreditations to provide relevant services (country specific)
- Relationship building – ability to work with colleagues with a variety of backgrounds both internal and external to Rowlands/ PHOENIX
- Excellent written and presentation skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft office packages
- Good time management, influencing and organisational skills
